Chai Guarana Oatmeal

Do you ever just need a real boost of energy to start your day? Or maybe a delicious little kick when you hit that 3 o’clock wall at work? WE HAVE A SOLUTION!

Guarana is a plant native to Brazil whose seeds can contain twice the caffeine content of coffee beans. While absolutely delicious as part of a chai tea, we kicked it up a notch by adding it to our oatmeal. Super quick, easy and effective. (And did I say delicious?)

Supplies:

  • 2/3 cup of Water
  • 1.5 teaspoons of Chai Guarana
  • 1 bag of instant oatmeal
  • Steeper

Directions:

  1. Add 1.5 teaspoons of the Chai Guarana into boiling water inside your Steeper.
  2. Let it steep approximately 4-7 minutes.
  3. Pour the steeped tea over your instant oatmeal.
  4. Mix it up and enjoy the energy boost!

The best part about using your own loose guarana is that you get to decide how much or how little you are consuming.

Happy Steeping!

There were tomatoes, onions, spinach, olives, big chunks of garlic, artichokes, mushrooms, marinated eggplant and zucchini, big pre boiled potatoes … and a lot more.
